Neil Haverty | Composer
As a founding member of Toronto ensemble Bruce Peninsula and as a solo artist, Haverty has released several critically-acclaimed LPs and toured extensively across North America, including headlining appearances at SXSW and the Dawson City Music Festival.
As an audio/visual composer, Neil has contributed original music to numerous shorts, feature films and series (Sleeping Giant, Avocado Toast, Body & Bones, Small Town Murder Songs, among others) and has screened work at the Cannes Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival. Notable recent composing work includes Wildhood by director Brettan Hannam, doc series Who Owns The World (Hawkeye Pictures) and the Canadian Screen Award-winning animated short Hot Flash by Thea Hollatz.
Haverty is an alumnus of the Slaight Family Music Lab at the Canadian Film Centre, and is a co-founder and Senior Manager of the music video support initiatives Prism Prize & The MVP Project.
